Metro Honda will be expanding its Montclair auto dealership onto the property that was formerly occupied by a church. The Metro Honda Dealership and Showroom sits on a lot of five acres with 217,800 sf of building and lot space, adjacent to the church property. Office and showroom makes up for 12,000 sf of the total property.

The newly purchased church building will be razed and a parking garage and show space is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The church is relocating within the community.

The price per square foot for the property is estimated at around $83, which sources say is fair market value for the size and location of the site, which averages between $75 and $100 per sf.

Bill Lowder and Dawn Lowder of NAI Capital Commercial represented both sides in the transaction.
