Empire Lakes is located at 9500 Cleveland Ave. It is currently 99% leased to tenants including Aetna, ADP, CUNA, Continental DataGraphics (a Boeing subsidiary) and Southern California Edison. Michael Ross of Colliers Seeley's Investment Services Group represented the seller, Legacy Partners, and the buyer, Empire Lakes LLC (an affiliate of Columbus Pacific Properties).
Colliers brokered two other investment sales recently as well. The Orangefair Marketplace, a community center encompassing 352,720 sf, sold for $31.5 million. The power center is anchored by Burlington Coat Factory, Circuit City and Marshalls. David Norcott and Bryan Norcott of Colliers Seeley International's Investment Services Group--in association with Howard Mann of JLM Realty--represented the seller, Orangefair Company LLC of Beverly Hills, Calif., and the buyer, Orangefair Marketplace LLC of Beverly Hills, Calif.
--The Shoppes at Fontana retail center, an 98,000 sf center, sold for $7.3 million. The power center is anchored by Albertsons and 100% occupied. Bob Hoyt of Colliers Seeley's Investment Services Group represented the seller, Foot Center Associates, and the buyer, Corsair LLC.
