AUSTIN-An Austin computer-services company has upgraded its space and gotten away from a traffic snarl for a better price. Smartech Computer Services Inc. signed a 5,678-sf sub-sublease at the two-year-old Lantana Corporate Center, in the southwest submarket, to do it.

Smartech took space vacated by Norwood Promotional Products Inc. in the 66,600-sf Building Two at 7600 W. William Cannon Dr. It leaves the 21,630-sf Briarton building, built in 1974 at 4818 W. Ben White Blvd., in the southeast submarket and near the interchange construction at Ben White and Interstate 35.
