The contract covers the counties of Middlesex, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Barnstable and Nantucket. According to Jodi Paradise, spokesperson for Haircolorxpress International, the development agents have committed to opening at least 90 salons in these counties in the next eight years.
In a released statement Larry Feldman, CEO of Haircolorxpress International, says, "Our business concept is attracting successful entrepreneurs from a range of professional backgrounds - all of whom have committed their time and expertise to achieve our company's growth plans…. These agents of HCX will work closely with real estate brokers, landlords and tenant reps in their regions to identify and develop viable salon locations."
Paradise tells GlobeSt.com that the salons range from 1,500 to 2000 sf and are typically in retail strip or enclosed malls rather than stand-alone stores. The released statement notes that the company plans to build a worldwide chain of over 10,000 salons over the next eight years.
