The company, which invests in senior housing and long-term facilities, has announced that it will pay a $0.46 per share regular dividend on its common stock. Shareholders of record on May 16 will be paid the common dividend on June 7.
Shareholders with preferred stock will receive a dividend of $1.92 per share. Those shareholders of record on June 3 will be paid the preferred dividend on July 1.
Nationwide Health Properties and its joint venture have investments in 356 facilities in 38 states. The REIT and its joint venture partner JER Partners, recently acquired 39 assisted living campuses for $91 million. The purchase consists of 43 recently completed buildings scattered throughout 10 states.
