Washington Mutual Signs Mission Valley Lease

SAN DIEGO-Mission Valley's hot market gets another as Washington Mutual Bank inks a 5-year lease for $1.25 million. Activity has been strong in the Mission Valley market of late. A commercial developer recently sold about 90 gross acres in Mission Valley to a residential builder in a deal valued at $50 million.

SAN DIEGO-Washington Mutual Bank has signed a lease deal valued at $1.25 million.

The financial institution will take occupancy on July 1 of an 8,500-sf office space located at 8954 Rio San Diego Plaza Drive.

Jack Kruger, senior vice president in Grubb & Ellis’ San Diego office, represented the lessee. Pat Rohan of Burnham Real Estate Services represented the lessor, Scripps Mission Valley Office Park, LLC.
