Ivy Oakland LLC, new boutique hotel created by former Fairmont Hotel employees, has signed a 20-year, $12-million lease for Oakland's Jack London Inn. The property includes 110 rooms and 3,000-sf of meeting and banquet space. The hotel is located at 444 Embarcadero West. Jeff Roe of Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners negotiated the deal.In Hayward, Sweet Paper Sales Corporation, A Florida-based redistribution firm, inked a 6-year lease to occupy 60,000-sf of warehouse space at 2391-2399 West Winton Ave. The property includes 220,000-sf of warehouse/distribution space on 9.6 acres of land. Colliers International represented the landlord, Boston Properties Inc., while Julien Studley represented Sweet Paper. The deal was negotiated at about $5 per sf, annually.
