Environmental Grant to Help City Clean Site

SAGINAW, MI-The city will buy 314 N. Hamilton and a neighboring property after an environmental investigation and sell them for redevelopment.

SAGINAW, MI-A $12,650 grant to the city will assist in the cleanup of vacantproperty at 314 N. Hamilton. The site assessment fund grant will be used for an environmental investigation and, if required, a baseline environmental assessment to helpprotect the city from liability for any contamination found at the site.

The city will buy the property following the environmental investigation, combine the parcel with an adjacent property, and sell them both for redevelopment.
