Caring Family provides recruiting, screening, training and licensing services for families that care for neglected and abused children. It works closely with the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, which has offices nearby.
8011 Cameron is a 40,000-sf building in the northeast submarket. That submarket, which has about two million sf of office space, had an 8.28% direct vacancy rate at the end of the first quarter, according to Dallas-based Staubach Co.'s Austin office report. The overall vacancy rate, including sublease space, was 9.83%. At the end of 2001, the direct vacancy rate was 5.85% and the overall vacancy rate was 7.62%.
