The 74,140-ton, 1,950-passenger ship will offer 19 sailings from San Diego in 2002, from May 19 through September 21--the first time in 10 years that summertime weekly roundtrip cruises will be offered out of San Diego Bay. It's the fourth Royal Caribbean vessels sailing from San Diego this year. Royal Caribbean's sister cruise line, Celebrity Cruises, also will sail three ships from San Diego this summer.

Grandeur of the Seas will depart San Diego on Sundays on seven-night Mexican Riviera sailings, with ports of call in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Fares start at $849 per person, double occupancy.
