According to Meredith Baumann, spokesperson for the Boston Redevelopment Authority, the vote by the commission was unanimous, with one member absent. She tells GlobeSt.com that the company still needs to finalize its cooperation agreement with the BRA and secure financing for the project.

Nearly 60 of the units on site will be affordable and Fenway Ventures is contributing an additional $1.5 million to the city's Neighborhood Housing Fund to create affordable housing off site. Other community benefits include transportation and infrastructure improvements to the area, including a new traffic signal at the intersection of Boylston and Kilmarnock and a Kilmanrock Street extension to align with Fullerton Street. The project expects to break ground after this summer.
