COSTA MESA, CA-The Costa Mesa-based REIT Donahue Schriber will soon kick off a $5-million renovation project, designed to upgrade its 247,470-sf Camarillo Village Square shopping complex.

The project, which is slated to commence in May, will include the demolition and reconfiguration of the mall’s existing internal courtyard. Plans call for the construction of new plaza areas to be furnished with benches, tables, chairs, umbrellas and decorative lighting. In addition, the complex’s monument signs will be reconstructed. The mall will stay open during the project, which is targeted for a November 2003 completion. The 23-acre neighborhood shopping center, which stands at Las Posas Road and Arneill Road, was last remodeled in 1987.
