The building will become Downtown's first private-sector, Class A office high-rise and mixed-use project to be under construction in more than a decade, according to Robert Lankford, president and CEO of the San Diego-based development company.
The only other class A high-rise to be developed Downtown since 1990 was the San Diego Hall of Justice, an award-winning design/build project that Lankford developed on behalf of San Diego County.
The project will include 430,000 sf of office space in the high-rise, 13,000 sf of ground floor retail space, subterranean parking for 750 cars, and a four-story residential component, Lankford says.
