Jordan's proposal at 426 Alice St. consists of building an eight-story, 100-foot apartment house that would require demolishing the existing warehouse that is a primary contributor to the historical Oakland Warehouse Waterfront District listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The project would require a major conditional use permit for the location of off-street parking, loading, or driveways within 75 feet of the front property line.

The proposal was presented with an environmental impact report, which is subject to review, and a public hearing will be held to determine the outcome of the proposal.
