The hotel joins 10 Drury-operated hotels in San Antonio. Six are near San Antonio International Airport; one is downtown on the Riverwalk, two are east off Interstate 35 North and one is off I-10 West. The new hotel will have 30 to 35 employees.
The hotel features an outdoor pool and whirlpool, exercise room and guest laundry facilities. Rooms include standard rooms with queen-size beds, one and two-room suites with microwaves and refrigerators, and suites for extended stays. Extended-stay suites have a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker and kitchen.
Drury Inns is a family-owned and operated hotel chain with more than 100 hotels in 15 states. Brands include Drury Inn, Drury Suites, Drury Inn & Suites, Pear Tree Inn by Drury, Posada Ana Inn, Thrifty Inn, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites.
