ORLANDO-Drew-19 Shopping Center in Clearwater, FL, one of the oldest retail hubs on Florida’s west coast, is getting a $6 million facelift after signing 30,000-sf, five-year leases with new anchors Marshalls and Babies R Us.

Existing anchors Rooms to Go (56,000 sf) and Best Buy (50,000 sf) will remain. Quoted average local space is $15 per sf. Box space is negotiable at a higher rent range.

Property owner Brown 19 LLC of Clearwater is having the improvements done at this time to tie in with a new overpass exchange being built at Drew St. and U.S. 19, Lee Arnold, chairman, Colliers Arnold Commercial Real Services Inc., Clearwater, says in a prepared statement. Colliers Arnold is the leasing agent for the property.
