Hard Rock Café occupies the ground floor and part of the lower ground floor of this six storey building. The upper floors are let on long leases to the Accounts Commission For Scotland and Cairngorm Management.
W G Mitchell director Patrick Hegarty said: 'We are delighted to have secured this landmark building in such a prominent position on George Street. With the opening of the new Harvey Nichols development at the end of this year, the east end of the New Town is becoming an increasingly attractive location for bars and restaurants.'
Henderson Global Investors was advised by Drivers Jonas, and W G Mitchell by Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker and Lisney.
