In Alameda County Superior Court, this year, ARRA sought to evict Manex from its 125,000-sf, four-building property at the former Alameda Naval Air Station. In February, Manex's litigation filed against it by ARRA concluded with a ruling in favor of Manex. In addition to the ruling, the Superior Court of the State of California awarded the Company a judgment against ARRA for an amount to include costs and attorneys' fees.

Manex is now aggressively pursuing $10 million in claims against the City of Alameda, ARRA and certain city employees for capital improvements made by the Manex to ARRA controlled property and other lost business opportunities. This case is awaiting trial in Superior Court.

``This is an important first step in our efforts to recover the multi-million dollar investment Manex has made as part of its three and a half year commitment to the redevelopment of locations and facilities of the former Naval Air Station in Alameda'' says Gary Kucher, President and CEO of Manex.

Manex abandoned the property following the lawsuit but allegedly never returned the keys. ARRA is appealing the first eviction trial, has filed for a second one and is waiting for a trial date. ARRA is asking for its keys back and up to $800,000 in back rent that was allegedly never paid.
