AstroCosmos, which in concert with its parent, Group Carbone Lorraine, forms one of the world's largest producers of highly corrosion-resistant equipment, plans an October occupancy of its new headquarters located at 401 Rice Ave. AstroCosmos will consolidate operations from its current facilities in Camarillo, as well as in Wooster, Ohio. Approximately 140 people will be employed at the new site.
The new headquarters for AstroCosmos is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring dock high loading, 26-foot minimum warehouse clearance, ample parking and office space built to suit. The move to Oxnard will consolidate the company's operations and offers more capability for the manufacture of heavier equipment, according to the AstroCosmos.
Mitch Conlee of DAUM's Camarillo, CA-based Ventura County office represented AstroCosmos. Grant Harris and John Ochoa of Colliers Seeley represented Sunbelt Enterprises, the property owner.
