GlobeSt.com EXCLUSIVE: JV to Develop Real Estate ASP Solution

WALTHAM, MA-Workplace IQ partners with Aperture Technologies Inc. to develop a workplace IQ-hosted ASP version of Aperture's Business Infrastructure Management solutions for the real estate industry. The product will allow users access to an integrated suite of products that can run on the same platform.

WALTHAM, MA-Workplace IQ, a provider of software products for the real estate industry, is partnering with Aperture Technologies Inc. to develop a workplace IQ-hosted ASP version of Aperture’s Business Infrastructure Management solutions. The product will allow users access to an integrated suite of products that can run on the same platform.

“It’s a complete life cycle integration solution,” Rob Vanderwerf, the newly appointed COO of Workplace IQ tells GlobeSt.com. “It makes it much easier to share information across groups and functions and increase efficiency.”

According to Steve Yellin, director of product marketing for Aperture, the two companies identified each other nearly simultaneously and “saw synergies of the two products working together.” The partnership will allow both companies to expand their market reach. Yellin notes that historically, Aperture was more involved in the corporate world but this product will allow Aperture to provide its customers with a web-based ASP solution.
