Firm Preps for 42,262-SF Call Center Launch

SAN ANTONIO-Clarke American Checks cuts a 10-year deal for more space at 5800 Northwest Parkway, where it operates a call center in a 68,000-sf building. The financial services provider says another 200 jobs will come on line by year's end.

SAN ANTONIO-Clarke American Checks Inc. is expanding its operations in its home base of San Antonio by leasing a 42,262-sf building for a call center. It’s the company’s second call center in San Antonio and seventh overall.

The new call center, leased for 10 years, is located at 12449 Silicon Dr. in the University Park Tech Center in the northwest submarket, Jim Grant, Clarke’s director of finance and real estate, tells GlobeSt.com. He says the center will accommodate the company’s growth. It intends to hire 200 workers by year end to staff the center. Clarke also leases a 68,000-sf building at 5800 Northwest Parkway in the same tech center, which was developed by R.L. Worth & Associates.
