Beau Kaleel, James E. Foreman and Sandra F. Harris, all of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc.'s Houston office, represented Pro-Tech in the lease negotiations. Richard Howard of Kagan Edelman Enterprises brokered the pact for building owner, Commercial Property Advisors. Astro Business Center is a 22-year-old industrial property.
Pro-Tech is a Wascomat distributor, one of the top industrial washing machine lines in the country. Its distribution base takes in all types of commercial venues. That, Kaleel says, means the company needs dedicated showroom space as much as warehouse space. He tells GlobeSt.com that Pro-Tech moved its offices to Houston so the showroom could be closer to its clients. "Most of their clientele is in Houston," he says. Pro-Tech also services the machines and supplies parts.
