The three buildings and entire acreage legally exist on a single land parcel, which made it difficult to find investors who were interested in both the buildings and the land. To separate the land and buildings into separate parcels would have been too costly, legally complicated and time-consuming.

So Eureka's plans to develop the Herman Miller campus into a business complex have been scrapped.

In Cotati, Monahan Pacific Corp. postponed its plans to develop a $55 million business park. The developer requested an extension for its building permit for South Sonoma Business Park.
