Raymond J. Bird, Jr., COO for the Greater Boston franchisee of six Colortyme stores, says, "We chose the location because of its visibility and accessibility both for our typical customers and for our corporate and professional clients." Plano, Texas-based Colortyme has 350 franchise locations nationwide and seven other locations in the state in Dorchester, Holyoke, Roxbury, Springfield, Worcester, Lynn and Roslindale.

The building is owned and managed by The Grossman Companies Inc. According to Aidan Murray, Grossman's leasing broker and the exclusive agent for Colortyme's Greater Boston/metropolitan area franchise market, the company is currently looking for another two to three locations in the inner cities of Boston, Lowell and Lawrence. "The stores are typically found in the inner cities of large urban areas," Murray tells GlobeSt.com.
