Cannon and TLC own and operate 42 Applebee's restaurants in New York and Connecticut. The statement says Cannon/TLC is the 59th largest franchise operator in the United States.
Five-year-old Fired Up has contracts to develop 270 Johnny Carino's in 27 states and 12 countries, according to the statement. The company didn't disclose its financials.
