Speaking on the lease renewals, Boston Properties vice president Anne DuMont says the real estate company is "pleased to have both of these important financial services firms remain in our building for another decade, in the company of other high-profile tenants including T. Rowe Price and Tydings and Rosenberg."
Brokerage firm Paine Webber first signed on to 9,500 sf on the 21st floor of the 28-story tower back in 1992. At the time, the 10-year lease was valued at $5 million. Merrill Lynch originally pre-leased 27,000 sf in the building ten years ago. The terms of the renewals are not being disclosed.
