RICHMOND, VA-Clothing and sporting-goods store chain Gaylan’s has signed on to lease 84,000 sf at the 690,000-sf Stony Point Fashion Center, which is scheduled to open in September 2003. The new location will mark Gaylan’s debut in the city of Richmond.

Stony Point is an open-air retail center project of Bloomfield Hills, MI-based developer Taubman Centers Inc. In addition to Gaylan’s, the center will be the home of an 80,000-sf Saks Fifth Avenue and a 204,000-sf Dillard’s. The $120-million Stony Point will house a total of 90 stores and four restaurants. As of May 7, 50% of the center had been pre-leased.
