Pizza Restaurant Makes First Venture Outside Austin

AUSTIN-Conan's Pizza opens its fourth location, but this time heading outside Austin city limits. The lease takes the 49,000-sf Lake Creek Crossing in Round Rock to 92% occupancy. The popular pizza eatery is marking its 20th year.

AUSTIN-Conan’s Pizza, a longtime Austin purveyor of Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, has opened in Round Rock, its first location outside of Austin and fourth overall. The restaurant has taken 3,060 sf at Lake Creek Crossing, a shopping center at 1205 Round Rock Ave.

David Simmonds and Lance Morris, both with the commercial retail division of Dallas-based Weitzman Group, represented Conan’s. Edwin Williams of Edwin Williams Properties of Austin represented the building owner, Lake Creek LP.

Lake Creek Crossing, a 49,000-sf shopping center built in 1982, is 92% leased, Williams tells GlobeSt.com. Tenants include several other restaurants, shops and health-care offices.
