Also, INA Bearing USA, an automotive supplier of ball bearings and precision products, is relocating from East Big Beaver to a new facility. It will be designed by Yamasaki and located next to Altair Engineering's new building at the front door of the new Big Beaver Research and Technology Park.
Meanwhile, Midtown Square has leased 597,000 sf of the 604,000-sf retail area, with shoppers expected to come from condominium projects nearby that recently opened.
Two other new condominium developments, Sandalwood South and Maya's Meadows, are under construction. Troy is lacking in condominium units.
