National Life of Vermont will be moving into the space next month. It has leased the floors between the eighth and the 16th floor in the building located at 1900 Avenue of the Stars.
Century City has a total of 22 office buildings, with an inventory of 8.5 million sf. The overall vacancy rate according to a first quarter 2002 report issued by Cushman & Wakefield is 14.6%. Sublease space, which has a vacant inventory of 484,309 sf, has a vacancy rate of only 5.6%.
Lee Shapiro in Charles Dunn Co.'s West Los Angeles sales office represented the tenant, National Life of Vermont. The landlord, Dusenberg Investment Co., was represented by Jeff Pion of CB Richard Ellis.
