Four Ro-Jack's Stores to Close

WOODSVILLE, NH-Butson's Enterprises closes four of its Ro-Jack's stores in Mansfield and North Attleboro, MA and in East Wakefield and Greenwich, RI. The locally based retailer is looking to cut costs in an effort to better position itself in the current market.

WOODSVILLE, NH-Butson’s Enterprises Inc., a locally based retailer that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Supervalu Inc., is closing four of its Ro-Jack’s stores. The affected stores are located in Mansfield and North Attleboro, MA and in East Wakefield and Greenwich, RI.

The company says that it is looking to position itself to “successfully compete in today’s changing marketplace.” The closings are part of effort to control costs in the company and will take effect by June 8 of this year.

Jerry Engstrand, Butson’s vice president and general manager, says that the company looked at the long-term viability of each store and its overall “fit” with the company’s strategic objectives. “We examined each store’s past performance and future potential,” he says.
