IT Firm Takes 36,000 SF at 1111 Broadway

OAKLAND, CA-Computer Sciences Corporation signs a 10-year lease to occupy 36,000 sf on the 11th and 13th floors of the building, which is owned by Shorenstein.

OAKLAND, CA-Computer Sciences Corporation has leased 35,996 sf at 1111 Broadway in Oakland City Center. The information technology services company plans to utilize the space for a data center.

With the recent completion of 555 City Center, Oakland City Center encompasses more than 1.5 million sf of office space and includes 18 restaurants and food outlets, more than a dozen retail shops and services, a complete athletic club and parking for 1,840 vehicles.

The 10-year lease is effective immediately. CSC plans to relocate in September 2002 from the Kaiser Center near Lake Merritt in Oakland. The company’s new offices will be located on the 11th and 13th floors of the building.
