The center is designed to accommodate 183 children from ages six weeks to 12 years. The Portland, OR-based company and its subsidiaries operate a total of 1,266 early childhood education and care centers and serve approximately 134,000 children and their families, employing more than 27,000 people. Of the 1,266 centers, 1,264 are located in 39 states in the US and two centers are located in the United Kingdom.
The new center will feature an outdoor Playscape offering different settings, surfaces, textures and equipment and is being designed by Architecture Inc. The general contractor for the build-out is Belisle Construction Inc. The company was founded in 1969 and is one of the country's largest providers of early childhood care and education.
