Allstate Puts CT Shopping Center on Market

BRISTOL, CT-Allstate Life Insurance Co., which recently took ownership of the Bristol Farms Plaza here has put the 150,000-sf shopping center on the market for sale, says officials with The Hutensky Group LLC.

BRISTOL, CT-Officials with The Hutensky Group, LLC of Hartford report that the firm has been retained by Allstate Life Insurance Co., as the manager, exclusive leasing agent and investment sales broker for Bristol Farms Plaza here.

The 150,000-sf shopping center was formerly owned by Cornerstone Companies of Farmington, CT. Earlier this year Allstate, which is headquartered in Northbrook, IL took ownership of Bristol Farms Plaza.

“We specialize in repositioning shopping centers with upside potential,” says Brad M. Hutensky, president of The Hutensky Group. “These are the type of centers which the shopping center industry is seeking more of as a result of the growing number of retailers in bankruptcy, the downsizing of retailers and the aging of shopping centers. Our real estate experts focus on finding the right tenant mix to rejuvenate the property.”
