Bart Lofts Leasing Up Townhouses in Suburbia

PLEASANTON, CA-The developers of the iron Horse Lofts took a chance on a new concept and now are reaping the rewards. The 54 townhouses have nearly sold out at prices between $380,000 and $500,000.

PLEASANTON, CA-The Iron Horse Lofts is Bart Lofts, LLC’s latest contribution to the development of cutting-edge residential projects in the Bay Area, and despite the high cost of the lofts, the developers have sold almost every unit.

Bart Lofts is an Emeryville-based company that has developed nearly 1,000 homes and lofts, and renovated famous buildings such as San Francisco’s ClockTower and 1000 Van Ness. Bart Lofts and managing partner Holliday development recently introduced the idea of urban living in a suburban environment to Pleasanton, and found that there is a market for live-work spaces in the area.

Holliday Development and Bridge Housing Corp submitted a joint proposal under which Holliday would build 54 market-rate live/work spaces, and Bridge would build 87 affordable rental units. Coggins Square, the Bridge project, and Iron Horse Lofts share the site.
