The law firm Jordan Schrader has convinced some important characters in the debate--Join Kelly Ross of the Homebuilders Association, Rod Park, Chairman of the Growth Management Committee of METRO, Charlotte Lehan, Mayor of the City of Wilsonville, and Ed Trompke and Jeff Bennett of Jordan Schrader--for a breakfast discussion of the issues and insights into "when," "where," and "whether or not" the boundary will be moved.

Topics at the breakfast will include:--How a "Sub-regional analysis" may change the place where expansion will occur;

--How application of Goal 5 preservation requirements inside the existing UGB will affect the amount of land brought into the expanded UGB;

--How preliminary planning can improve the chance of specific parcels being brought into the UGB; and

--How the need to preserve farm and forest land affects expansion, and whether any real farm land is under consideration.

The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on May 31 at the Multnomah Athletic Club.
