Kaiser Stays Put in 38,228 SF at WesTech

SILVER SPRING, MD-Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States renews its lease of 38,228-sf for five years in the Allegany Building at the multi-structure Grosvenor's WesTech Business Park. Kaiser occupies the entire 55,665 Allegany building but has two different lease agreements on the space.

SILVER SPRING, MD-Grosvenor’s WesTech Business Park gets a renewed commitment from tenant Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States Inc, with the health organization’s recent five-year renewal of its 38,228-sf space in the park’s 14-year-old Allegany Building, one of ten structures in the complex. Kaiser occupies the entire 55,665-sf structure, but took on the space under two separate deals.

In addition to its offices in the Allegany Building, Kaiser leases other space in structures throughout WesTech, which offers 331,000-sf of space. “They occupy about a third of the park,” Trammell Crow’s Kathy Keller tells GlobeSt.com. Trammell Crow Company represented the owner while Grubb & Ellis stood in for the tenant.
