Le Meridien Sells Six UK Hotels

LONDON-Le Meridien UK & Ireland has put six former Principal hotels on the market through Atis Real Weatheralls. Following the merger of the two portfolios it was found that he six did not match Le Meridien's core specification.

LONDON-Le Meridien has put six hotels, formerly part of the Principal portfolio, on the market through Atis Real Weatheralls. The six provide 779 beds in total. They are: the Norbreck Castle, Blackpool; The Queen Hotel, Chester; Manor House Hotel, Moretonhampstead; Keswick Hotel, Keswick; North Stafford Hotel, Stoke-on-Trent and the Golf Hotel, Lincoln.

Managing director Tony Troy said: ‘Prior to finalising our plans to merge the two brands we conducted an initial review of all the hotels in the region. Our strategic plans are now in place and the decision has been made to sell these six properties, as they do not meet Le Meridien’s core brand specifications.’
