The resort has been redoing the suites, restaurant and adding space as well as realigning the road. The water attraction, called the Oasis, will include an 83-foot tower, 10,000-sf wave pool, 950-foot by 12-foot river, 800-sf children's area and a 30-person hot tub. A restaurant, gift shop and first-aid station are included in the plans for the Oasis. The amenity will be landscaped with palm trees, canterra fountains, decorative pavers, lawn chairs.
"The Oasis will significantly enhance our catered event opportunities appealing to an even greater leisure clientele," Ron Olstad, resort managing director, said in a prepared statement. Phoenix-based Kitchell Construction Co., Synectic Design of Tempe and Watertown, MA-based Hangen Brustlin are the craftsmen behind the renovations.
