FFE Transportation Inc. is taking 12,804 sf at Director Industrial Park I, a 200,000-sf industrial center on W.W. White Boulevard. While it is a new lease, the Dallas-based trucking company is transferring from another location, Joe Carroll of Grubb & Ellis Co. says. He represented the building owner, Lend Lease. The tenant cut the deal without a broker. Director Industrial Park is about 88% leased.
In a renewal, LD Systems Inc., which rents equipment for special events, is staying put in 12,000 sf at Rittiman East 27. LD Systems, part of Stellar Events and Presentation Resources, also has operations in Houston.
Carroll represented Kase Joint Venture, the building owner. The equipment rental business didn't use a broker to negotiate its renewal. The 609,000-sf Rittiman East is San Antonio's biggest industrial center.
