Medea Corp. will occupy all but 7,000 sf of the entire first floor in the 69,000-sf Class A suburban office building located at 26707 West Agoura Rd. Under the terms of the sublease, Medea received monument signage. The new headquarters houses the firm's sales, marketing, accounting, technical support and manufacturing operations. The firm was previously located in 18,000 sf at 5701 Lindero Canyon Rd.

Located between Lost Hills and Las Virgenes Canyon Roads at the US 101 Freeway, the Malibu Canyon Corporate Center and Business Park is situated at the eastern end of the 101 Technology Corridor. The seven, two-story buildings comprising the 385,000-sf park were built between 1986 and 1990.

Margaret Fichter and Matt Hargrove, brokers in the Woodland Hills office of Cushman & Wakefield represented Clarent in the transaction. Fichter and Hargrove are currently marketing Clarent's remaining 28,000 sf in the business park, which includes a 21,000-sf office building adjacent to the new Medea headquarters. Medea Corp. was represented by Brian Davies and David Toomey of the Los Angeles office of CRESA Partners.
