$60M Lodge at Torrey Pines is Finished

LA JOLLA, CA-The landmark Lodge at Torrey Pines, a $60 million hotel near the Torrey Pines Golf Course, is complete after more than a year of construction.

McCarthy Building Companies Inc. completed work on the California craftsman-style complex on 6.5 acres owned by Evans Hotels of San Diego.

In demolishing the old lodge and rebuilding the structure originally built in the early 1900s, McCarthy built a new 175,000-sf, four-level addition with 175 rooms. The facility includes a separate two-story building for presidential and governor luxury suites and spa, a courtyard, a terrace overlooking the golf course and a three-level, 269-car parking structure.
