Dillon Tidwell, Larry Ortega and Kai Neighbors, all of Colliers International's Phoenix office, negotiated the pact for the Scottsdale property owner, Scotts Horizon Property Inc, an entity of Simsbury, CT-based Hart Advisors Inc. The lease length and value are being kept under wraps.

Hart Advisors acquired the 155,301-sf, grocery-anchored center in April 1998 for $19 million. Safeway is the anchor, with the tenant roster including Osco Drug, Jiffy Lube and Jack-in-the-Box. The Scottsdale Horizon is located in the master-planned community of McDowell Mountain Ranch master-planned community in the city's northeast sector.

In an unrelated lease, Steiner Distribution LLC, a furniture store from Sun City AZ, has leased 3,903 sf at the Village at Prescott Gateway in the suburb of Prescott. Tom Woods of Colliers International represented tenant and building owner, TWC II- Prescott Mall LLC of Phoenix. The center, situated on the southwest corner of Lee Boulevard and Arizona 69, has a Barnes & Noble, Dillard's, Michael's, JCPenney and Sears in its line-up.
