Hatfield will open, manage and staff the office, which will be located at a site to be announced in the Bedminster area of Somerset County. The new office will focus on both tenant and owner representation in the office and industrial sectors.

"The need to expand our New Jersey base of operations has grown out of client demand," according to Frank Doyle, managing director of leasing and management for JLL. "With New Jersey ranking as the fourth largest office market in the country, and one of the leaders in industrial real estate, our activity there has skyrocketed over the last few years."

On the client list that JLL has been servicing recently in New Jersey are such corporate names as AT&T, KPMG, Sapient, Datek Online and Aetna. The announcement and hiring of Hatfield follows the firm's hiring, earlier this year, of New Jersey industrial market expert David Nenner as vice president of corporate services. Currently based in New York, Nenner will move to the new Bedminster-area office.
