The Melville, Long Island-based REIT reports that Bayer Corp., is expanding its offices at 555 White Plains Road in Tarrytown. The pharmaceutical giant, which owns more than 350 healthcare and chemical companies worldwide, now leases 71,340 sf at the firm's Tarrytown Corporate Center complex. Reckson also notes that ConnectiCare Holding Co., one of Connecticut's largest HMOs, has become a tenant at its 560 White Plains Road building. CB Richard Ellis served as broker for the tenant in that deal.

In White Plains, Heineken USA expanded its corporate headquarters space by another 9,588 sf at the Reckson Metro Center at 360 Hamilton Ave. The imported brewer now leases 73,024 sf at the property. Robert Giglio of Cushman & Wakefield represented Heineken USA in the deal. At its 140 Grand St. property in downtown White Plains, Reckson reports that the New York State Unified Court System has inked a deal for 9,050 sf.

Other lease deals of note include Harrison Conference Services Inc., which renewed its lease for 5,277 sf at 580 White Plains Road in Tarrytown, while Synchrony Systems Inc., a software design company has joined the tenant roster at the property. Nearby, Platt, Barth, Elson & Steinman renewed its lease with Reckson for 6,450 sf at 660 White Plains Road. American Customer Care, an inbound customer contact service provider, is a new tenant at that building after signing a lease for 1,370 sf. Benson Commercial Realty represented American Customer Care in the transaction.

Reckson's office portfolio in Westchester County includes some 25 class A buildings totaling 3.3 million sf of space.
