Homewood Suites Opens Near Richmond Airport

SANDSTON, VA-Chester, VA-based hotel owner and developer Shamin RIC Hospitality has opened a 125-room Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel near the Richmond Airport. Located at 5996 Audubon Drive, the upscale six-story property is the third Homewood Suites in the area, with the other sites located in Glen Allen and Chester. The development cost for the property is unavailable.

Like the other Homewood Suites franchises, this location offers all-suite residential style rooms. In addition, this particular location offers 2,500 sf of meeting space. “The need for upscale hotels that cater to guests staying consecutive nights in the Richmond area greatly exceeds the available supply,” explains the hotels general manager Charles Friend.
