Jenny Craig, one of the world's largest weight management corporations, will move its corporate headquarters into its new space in Carlsbad in September. National University bought Jenny Craig Inc.'s two-story 75,000-sf corporate headquarters in La Jolla for $16 million last year to help raise money for the ailing weight loss firm, which went private earlier this year in a $115 million leveraged buyout. Jenny Craig Chairman and CEO Sid Craig said in January that the firm was considering several relocation options.

New York-based private investment firm ACI Capital Co. Inc. headed the partnership that took the nearly 20-year-old weight-watching firm private, with funding from Deutsche Bank's private equity arm, DB Capital Partners.
