Becknell Orlando LLC, an affiliate of Champagne, IL-based Becknell LL, will be developing the property for Kraft. Becknell paid the 1,350-acre park $1 million or $123,294 per acre ($2.83 per sf) for the 8.5-acre parcel.
The warehouse is expected to be operating by year end. Kraft is vacating a smaller property at 3851 Center Loop in northwest Orlando.
Chicago-based Craig Kouri Architects is designing the center. Hartrich Construction LLC of Chicago is the general contractor. Bob Stout of Orlando-based ComTech Properties negotiated for Becknell with S. Paul Sabga, the park's president.
