MINNEAPOLIS-The Minneapolis Foundation says it plans to move its headquarters from the Foshay Tower to another Downtown icon, the IDS Center, signing a 12-year lease for 20,000 sf. The Foundation’s offices will be on the eighth floor of the IDS Tower, says Corey Whitbeck, a leasing manager with RREEF Minnesota, who represented the IDS Center and manages the building.

The move will be made in April 2003.

“The growth of our programs and our client base has created a need for more contiguous space and that option was not available to us in our current location,” says Emmett Carson, Minneapolis Foundation president and CEO.
