Lennar Plans Major Mixed-Use Community

CARLSBAD, CA-A mixed-use community now being proposed for the area would include 100 apartment units, office and retail space, an assisted living facility and more than 2.1 million sf of industrial. City planners have given the project a thumbs up.

CARLSBAD, CA-City planning officials have approved a residential community that would include 100 apartment units, office and retail space, an assisted living facility and more than 2.1 million sf of industrial space.

The 585-acre Bressi Ranch development was approved by the Carlsbad Planning Commission last week and will be considered by the city council at the end of June or early July.

The development, master planned by Lennar Communities, is proposed for the southeast corner of Palomar Airport Road and El Camino Real.
